Book review

Charles Dickens is the author of the classic novel, Oliver Twist. His career as a fictional writer started in 1833 when his most stories and essays appeared in periodicals. In 1836, he married the daughter of his friend George Hogarth, Katherine Hogarth.

The story is about a poor orphaned boy and the different misfortunate he had to go through and in the end of his troublesome journey, manages to find his family. Oliver was treated cruelly from the start. In almost every chapter of the book, he is abused and treated like an ungrateful and worse-disposed boy; even calling his mother names. In spite of all these events, the balance of the story has not been visible. Injustice still revolves till in the last chapters of the story.
I find the book really interesting, another classic read from Charles Dickens. It portrays the social ill issues in the society like child labor. I like the story but I had some conflicts with it in comprehending because the author uses words that are deep.
In my own honest opinion, I think the writer’s purpose for the story is to discuss the real life experiences of a young, and innocent orphan. I would recommend this book to all people.

More and more people are leaving their country for better life in their future. There are few reasons why people emigrate: high taxes, job opportunities and education.

To start with, the biggest problem in our country is low economy. People are working for 10 hours or more per day and their salary is too low that they could normally live. Taxes are very high. For example, if man gets middle salary he could pay for taxes and just half of them or less left.

Secondly, I would like to mention that job availability for students in our country is complicated. Price for studies in universities is very high. Many families can’t afford their child or children studies. Children choose to study abroad, because there is cheaper and better opportunities to find a job while studying. Students who study abroad always can find a job by their qualification of studies, not as here in our country.

Furthermore, the third reason why people choose to leave our country is that they don’t see opportunity to stay here. Always, people try to imagine their future, but I don’t know how it is possible if you don’t have bachelor or master education. Many people in our country work not by their qualification.

To sum up, the main idea of emigrating from our country is that people are not happy staying here. Everyone wants to have and create their future better than it could be. That is the problem why they leave their native country.

The first lesson, i was a little bit surprised, because all new things. I mean about classrom, not information. It is better than sitting in normal class. All were sitting aroud the table and listening. I liked the first lecture :)
